medcom.id, Jakarta: Last year, Social Media Week (SMW) in Indonesia attracted 5,000 visitors and 14 million hashtags in twitter. MCM Group as the organizer plans to hold SMW again this year.
The event will be held on February 24-26. It will be divided into three categories namely the conference, Masterclass session and communities session.
Antonny Liem, Chief Executive Officer of MCM Group admitted last year's SMW exceeded expectation.
"The global SMW organization acknowledges Jakarta as the most successful host for the first SMW event," mentioned Antonny when met in Senayan City on Monday (2/15/2016).
"SMW 2016 will be held together with three other big cities: New York, Hamburg and Lagos," he added.
The theme for this year is "The Invisible Hand: Hidden Forces of Technology".80 guest speakers and influencers will attend the event including senior officials from Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.
