medcom.id, Jakarta: The Indonesian Communication and Information Ministry and the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) are committed to gather Indonesian and Japanese e-commerce leaders to improve bilateral e-commerce collaborations.
"This afternoon, we will hold one on one meetings. We will gather 45 Indonesian startup companies with 50 Japanese investors," said Indonesian Communication and Information Minister Rudiantara in Central Jakarta on Tuesday morning.
"So, they will meet in a room. They will discuss technical and financial issues," he added.
The Indonesian government has implemented a number of policies to support local e-commerce companies. It has issued a separate economic policy package for the growing indutry.
"We will visit other countries to seek investors. We will attract more investors to increase economic activities," he stated.
