medcom.id, Jakarta: Google announced Tony Keusgen as its new Country Director for Indonesia. The position previously held by Rudy Ramay who resigned in February 2015.
Keusgen will started working in his new position in January. As Country Director, Keusgen tasked to monitor sales and operations of Google in Indonesia and also establish strategy and partnership.
Moreover, Indonesia is one of the countries with the highest smartphone growth.
Previously, Keusgen worked as Managing director for New Zealand. Before that, he was head of technology for Australia and New Zealand.
Before he joined Google, the RMIT Melbourne graduate worked in Singapore telecommunication company, Singtel. he mostly worked in sales and marketing division there,
Rudi Gamay resigned as Country Director to join new e-commerce company, MatahariMall, as Vice Chairman.
