medcom.id, Jakarta: Baidu officially announced partnership with the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism, in order to promote Indonesian tourism.

"The trust given by the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism to Baidu is genuinely encouraging. Chinese tourists who are relying on internet-based information, have made us optimistic that the partnership would create positive synergy in increasing the number of visits to Indonesia," mentioned the Marketing Director of Baidu Indonesia, Bao Jialei, in Jakarta, Thursday (2/25/2016).

Baidu will supply information related to Indonesian tourism at the top of its search results. Indonesian tourism will also be presented on Baidu Travel platform, which Bao claimed as the main tourism reference for the Chinese people.

The giant Chinese internet company will also participate in series of workshops held in Indonesia.

The ministry targets 10 million tourists from China by 2019. This year, the ministry targets 2.1 million Chinese visitors.
