medcom.id, Jakarta: President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo opened the Indonesia Business & Development Expo at Jakarta Convention Center in Senayan, Central Jakarta on Wednesday, September 20, 2017.
"Innovations cannot be realized without experiments. They cannot be developed without enough funds. Jokowi said.
"Threfore, startups cannot be burdened with regulations. They cannot be obstructed with policies," he added.
The current administration will review overlapped regulations to assist local startups. It will build more supporting infrastructures to boost new technological innovations.
Moreover, the central government will encourage effective measures to address cibery security threats. It will promote preventive measures to protect e-commerce consumers.
"Consumer data should not be compromised by hacking activities. These data should not be sold to irresponsible parties," he stated.
