Covid-19 Patients in Athletes Village Rise to 2,549: Spokesperson

Jakarta: The number of covid-19 patients in the Athletes Village Emergency Hospital, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta increased by 35 to 2,549 today.
 
According to the Joint Regional Defense Command I (Kogabwilhan-I) Spokesperson Marine Colonel Aris Mudian, the number of covid-19 patients with mild to moderate symptoms at towers 6 and 7 stood at 1,424 today, down from 1,443 on the previous day.
 
Meanwhile, the number of asymptomatic covid-19 patients at towers 4 and 5 stood at 1,125 today, increasing from 1,076 yesterday.

"Towers 6 and 7 have accommodated a total of 22,246 people since March," said the spokesperson in a written statement issued on Thursday morning.
 
Operated by the central government, towers 6 and 7 are used as inpatient care centers for covid-19 patients with mild to moderate cases, while towers 4 and 5 are used as self-isolation flats for covid-19 patients with no symptoms.'
 
"The number of patients in self-isolation flats in towers 4 and 5 increased by 51 people," said Aris.
