Jakarta : Chief of Staf of the Indonesian Army General Andika Perkasa, has received the Chief of Office of Defense Cooperation of the United States (US) Embassy Colonel Ian Francis.
The two officials discussed about a joint military drill between Indonesian Army and the Security Force Assistance Brigade (SFAB).
SFAB is a specialized United States Army unit formed to train, advise, assist, enable and accompany operations with partner nations.
“Every single one of you had interacted with other soldiers from other parts of this world," Andika said here on Thursday.
"My hope is that once you leave this country, you would be able to have better experience,” the Indonesian general added.
The four-starred General hoped that the cooperation between the Indonesian Army and US Army would reinforce the friendship between the two nation. (translator: natasha celia)
