Jakarta: The Jakarta Special Capital Region registered 1,294 new covid-19 cases today, according to the National Covid-19 Task Force spokesperson Wiku Adisasmito.
"Jakarta also registered 945 new covid-19 recoveries," the spokesman said here on Wednesday.
In the past 24 hours, East Java Province recorded 372 new covid-19 cases and 342 new covid-19 recoveries. Meanwhile, Central Java Province recorded 340 new covid-19 cases and 124 new covid-19 recoveries.
"West Java Province recorded 293 new covid-19 cases and 213 new covid-19 recoveries," the spokesman stated.
On Wednesday afternoon, the National Covid-19 Task Force confirmed 3,963 new covid-19 cases, bringing the total number of confirmed covid-19 cases across Indonesia to 228,993.
From Tuesday noon to Wednesday noon, the total number of confirmed covid-19 recoveries was up by 3,036 to 164,101. Meanwhile, the total number of confirmed covid-19 deaths was up by 135 to 9,100.
