Jakarta: The Covid-19 Emergency Hospital at the Kemayoran Athletes Village in Central currently accomodates 4,156 covid-19 patients, comprising 2,425 patients with mild to moderate cases and 1,731 asymptomatic patients.
According to the Joint Regional Defense Command I (Kogabwilhan I) spokesperson Marine Colonel Aris Mudian, patients with mild to moderate symptoms are treated at towers 6 and 7, while asymptomatic patients undergo self isolation at towers 4 and 5.
"Towers 6 and 7 have accommodated as many as 16,836 people since March," the official stated.
On Monday, the Indonesian government confirmed 4,176 new covid-19 cases, bringing the total number of confirmed covid-19 cases in the country to 248,852.
Based on data from the Indonesian Ministry of Health, from Sunday noon to Monday noon, the total number of confirmed covid-19 recoveries in Indonesia was up by 3,470 to 180,797.
Meanwhile, in the past 24 hours, the total number of confirmed covid-19 deaths across the country increased by 124 to 9,677.
