Jakarta: The Transportation Ministry is planning to evaluate the design of Cipularang toll road after a fatal multi-car collision occurred in kilometer 91 of the toll road.
“We are planning to hold an evaluation. We hope that the design is fine,” Transportation Minister Budi Karya Sumadi said here on Tuesday, September 3, 2019.
Budi stated that the ministry will take a number of measures. He revealed that state toll road operator PT Jasa Marga will put warning signs along the area where the collision occurred.
“It can be in the form of lights and sounds or officers can be stationed to give warnings,” said Budi.
The National Committee of Transportation Safety (KNKT) alongside with Directorate General of
Land Transportation is currently investigating the incident. The collission occurred on Monday afternoon at around 01:00 PM Western Indonesia Time (WIB)
