Jakarta: The Athletes Village Emergency Hospital in Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, Jakarta Special Capital Region currently accommodates a total of 2,787 coronavirus disease 2019 (covid-19) patients, comprising 1,491 covid-19 patients with mild to moderate symptoms and 1,296 covid-19 patients with no symptoms.
According to the Joint Regional Defense Command I (Kogabwilhan-I) Spokesperson Marine Colonel Aris Mudian, the covid-19 patients with mild to moderate symptoms are being treated at towers 6 and 7 of the Kemayoran Athletes Village, while the asymptomatic covid-19 patients are undergoing self-isolation at towers 4 and 5 of the building complex.
"The number of patients at towers 6 and 7 increased by 6 from 1,485. They comprise 714 males and 777 females. The total number of patients at towers 6 and 7 has reached 21,375 since March," said the spokesperson here on Friday.
"Meanwhile, the number of patients at towers 4 and 5 increased by 75 from 1,221," he added.
On Thursday, the National Covid-19 Handling Task Force confirmed 4,411 new coronavirus disease 2019 (covid-19) cases, bringing the total number of confirmed covid-19 cases to 349,160.
Based on data from the Ministry of Heath, in the past 24 hours, the total number of recovered covid-19 patients was up by 5,810 to 273,661, while the official covid-19 death toll rose by 112 to 12,268.
