Jakarta: The Bogor city administration has decided to extend its Micro and Community-Based Social Restrictions (PSBMK) until November 10.
"Nevertheless, every indicators are improving, including mortality rate, hospitalization rate and positivity rate," said Bogor Mayor Bima Arya Sugiarto here on Tuesday.
According to him, to tackle the spread of coronavirus in Jakarta's sattelity city, the Bogor city administration focuses on preventing family and office clusters.
"Only few cases are originated from restaurants. However, they will still only be able to open until 21.00. We will also continue to promote health protocols," the Bogor City leader stated.
On Tuesday, the National Covid-19 Handling Task Force announced 3,520 new covid-19 cases, bringing the total number of confirmed covid-19 cases in Indonesia to 396,454.
From Monday noon to Tuesday noon, the total number of recovered covid-19 patients across Indonesia was up by 4,576 to 322,248, while the country's official covid-19 death toll rose by 101 to 13,512.
