Jakarta: Former President Director (Dirut) of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Pelindo) II Richard Joost (RJ) Lino was summoned by investigators from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).
"This is a process that must be dealt with. Yes I will face it," Lino said before entering the KPK Building on Thursday, January 23, 2020.
The suspect of the alleged corruption of the procurement project of three quay container crane (QCC) units at PT Pelindo II was not examined alone. Together with Lino, the KPK summoned President Director of PT Jayatech Putra Perkasa Paulus Kokok Parwoko.
"Those concerned will be examined for suspect RJL (RJ Lino)," KPK spokesman Ali Fikri said when confirmed.
RJ Lino is suspected of misusing his authority to enrich himself, others, and / or corporations when he became president director of Pelindo II. He directly appointed a Chinese company, Wuxi Huadong Heavy Machinery, as the executor of the QCC procurement project.
He was suspected of violating Article 2 paragraph (1) and or Article 3 of Law (Law) Number 31 of 1999 as amended by Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning Eradication of Corruption in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code 1.
This case has been handled by the KPK since December 2015. However, the investigation of this case has not yet been completed. Investigators have not even arrested RJ Lino. He was last examined on 5 February 2016.
