Jakarta: President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) has hinted that schools may start to carry out face-to-face learning in July 2021.
"However, it will be limited," said President Jokowi during his visit to South Sulawesi Province on Thursday.
According to the President, the government will conduct thorough reviews and evaluations before allowing face-to-face learning across the country.
For the record, teachers and educational personnel are the second priority group of the covid-19 vaccination program.
Officially launched last month, the second wave of covid-19 vaccination in Indonesia is expected to be fully completed by June 2021.
In South Sulawesi, The President visited Ge’tengan Community Health Center in Rante Kalua Village, Mengkendek District, Tana Toraja Regency to inspect mass vaccination.
Afterwards, President Jokowi observed another mass vaccination at Dalton Hotel in Makassar, the capital of the province.
