Jakarta: Great Indonesia Movement (Gerindra) Party Secretary General Ahmad Muzani has said that his party has a good relationship with the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI Perjuangan).
“We have a good relationship with PDI Perjuangan. There is a good relationship between Mr. Prabowo (Gerindra Chairman) with Mrs. Megawati (PDI Perjuangan Chairman),” said Muzani in Jakarta on Thursday.
Muzani explained that the good relationship was established after
Prabowo was appointed as Minister of Defense.
He said that the harmonious relationship is maintained even until today.
"Mr. Prabowo may walk forth with PDI Perjuangan," he revealed.
Although, he explained that there is yet to be a discussion between both parties pertaining to possible cooperation in the 2024 presidential race. (Translator: Natasha Celia)
