Yogyakarta: Yogyakarta Province's Covid-19 Pandemic Department spokesperson Berty Murtiningsih said on Sunday that the special region recorded 106 new covid-19 cases.
According to Berty, the new cases were mostly recorded in Sleman Regency (36 cases) and Bantul Regency (25 cases).
Meanwhile, the remaining cases were recorded in Kulonprogo Regency (18 cases), Gunungkidul Regency (17 cases), and Yogyakarta City (10 cases).
"With the additional 106 cases, the current total number of covid-19 cases in DIY is 153,931," said Berty.
"The total number of recoveries in DIY is 145,562," Berty stated.
Berty added that the covid-19 death toll increased by 9, which makes the total number of deaths reached 5,130.
