Jakarta: The Commission III of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR) has urged National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo to reveal the motive behind the murder of Brigadier Nopryansah Yosua Hutabarat or Brigadier J.
Brigadier J was shot dead by Inspector General Ferdy Sambo, the former Head of the International Affairs Unit of the National Police.
"There is no harm in conveying the motive," said member of Commission III of the DPR Habiburokhman during a Hearing Meeting (RDP) with the National Police Chief Sigit at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta on Wednesday, August 24, 2022.

According to him, the public wants to know the cause of the killing of Brigadier J.
"People want to know the truth about the incident in Magelang," said Adies.
"Don't let it be a controvery in the community. Why do we need to wait until the trial? other cases can be revealed before the trial," he said.

The suspects were charged under Article 340 of the Criminal Code on Premeditated Murder and Article 338 of the Criminal Code on Murder, as well as Articles 55 and 56 of the Criminal Code.
