Jakarta: The Joint Regional Defense Command I (Kogabwilhan I) spokesperson Marine Colonel Aris Mudian today said that the number of covid-19 patients with mild to moderate symptoms at the Covid-19 Emergency Hospital in Jakarta decreased by 88 to 2,398.
"They consist of 1,177 males and 1,221 females," the spokesperson said.
According to the military official, since March, the Covid-19 Emergency Hospital has treated a total of 14,127 suspected and confirmed covid-19 patients.
On Tuesday afternoon, the National Covid-19 Handling Task Force confirmed 4,071 new covid-19 cases, bringing the total number of confirmed covid-19 cases in Indonesia to 252,923.
Based on data from the Indonesian Ministry of Health, the total number of confirmed covid-19 recoveries increased by 3,501 to 184,298 from Monday noon to Tuesday noon.
Meanwhile, the covid-19 death toll rose by 160 to 9,837 in the past 24 hours.
