Jakarta: President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) is scheduled to inaugurate Alalak River bridge in South Kalimantan Province on Thursday, October 21, 2021.
This bridge connects Banjarmasin City and Barito Kuala Regency.
President Jokowi is also scheduled to inaugurate PT Jhonlin Agro Raya's Biodiesel Factory in Batulicin, Tanah Bumbu Regency.
After that, the Head of State will review covid-19 vaccination activities at Anshari Salih Hospital, Banjarmasin.
"There are a number of activities by the President during his visit to South Kalimantan, such as inaugurating Sei Alalak bridge and reviewing COVID-19 vaccination," said South Kalimantan Governor Sahbirin Noor, as quoted by Media Indonesia, Thursday, October 21, 2021.
The Alalak River Bridge was built by contractors PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk and PT Pandji.
The bridge that has been built since 2019 is the first bridge in Indonesia using a cable-stayed design and an arch bridge structure.
