5.2 Magnitude Quake Shakes Bali

Jakarta: A 5.2 magnitude earthquake hit the island of Bali on Wednesday, November 20, 2019. The earthquake occured at 03.27 AM Western Indonesia Time (WIB).
 
According to the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), the earthquake did not trigger tsunami alerts.
 
With a depth of about 10 kilometers, the epicenter of the earthquake was located around 513 kilometers southwest of South Kuta region. 

Previously, a 5.1 magnitude earthquake rocked Buleleng, Bali on Thursday, November 14, 2019. Based on reports from authorities, the earthquake damaged a number of homes and shops in the region.
 
In addition, a 7.1 magnitude earthquake jolted North Maluku and North Sulawesi on the same day. Several people were injured and dozens of buildings were damaged due to the strong earthquake.
