Bandung to Tighten Implementation of Health Protocols ahead of Long Weekend

Bandung: The Bandung city administration plans to tighten the implementation of covid-19 restrictions ahead of a long weekend in the end of October 2020.
 
According to Bandung Deputy Mayor Yana Mulyana, the Bandung City Covid-19 Task Force has anticipated the influx of tourists from outside Bandung this week.
 
"Our colleagues from the Public Order Agency and the Transportation Agency are also ready. We will deploy them. However, the implementation of health protocols is key," said the Bandung vice mayor here on Monday.

"Wearing face masks is a must. Maintain safe distance. And do not forget to regularly wash your hands," he stated.
 
On Sunday, the National Covid-19 Handling Task Force confirmed 3,732 new covid-19 cases, bringing the total number of confirmed covid-19 cases in Indonesia to 389,712.
 
From Saturday noon to Sunday noon, the total number of recovered covid-19 patients across Indonesia was up by 4.545 to 313,764, while the country's official covid-19 death toll rose by 94 to 13,299.
