Hundreds of Immigration Officers Stationed at Soekarno-Hatta Airport

Tangerang: A total of 803 immigration officers at the Immigration Checkpoint (TPI) of Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Tangerang, were alerted to anticipate the Christmas and New Year Holidays. Hundreds of officers were stationed at Terminal 2 and Terminal 3 to serve the incoming and outgoing passengers.
 
"If there is a surge in passengers on the Christmas and New Year holidays, the number of personnel will be increased," said Immigration Traffic Director of Cucu Koswala when conducting an inspection on the readiness of Immigration officers at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Tangerang on Friday, December 20, 2019.
 
Koswala stressed that the Immigration Office at Soekarno-Hatta Airport is ready to serve passengers during the end of the year. Nevertheless, he hinted that operations will be increased.

"To prevent the entry of foreign citizens who violate immigration regulations," he said.
 
He explained that his party was coordinating with related parties in an Integrated Team related to the supervision of foreigners.
 
"We also involve a foreign surveillance team or Timpora consisting of various agencies and stakeholders," he said.
