Jakarta: The National Covid-19 Handling Task Force on Tuesday confirmed 4,056 new covid-19 cases, bringing the total number of confirmed covid-19 cases in Indonesia to 311,176.
Based on data from the Indonesian Ministry of Health, from Monday noon to Tuesday noon, the total number of confirmed covid-19 recoveries across Indonesia was up by 3,844 to 236,437.
Meanwhile, in the same perios, the official covid-19 death toll in the country rose by 121 to 11,374.
From September 14 to October 4, police sealed off as many as 1,338 restaurants across Indonesia for violationg covid-19 restrictions.
"The restaurants still offered dine-in services," the National Police Spokesperson Brigadier General Awi Setiyono said here on Monday.
To tackle the spread of coronavirus, several regions introduced a wide range of restrictions, including a ban on dine-in services at restaurants.
