Jakarta: A magnitude 5.2 earthquake struck Pandeglang regency in Banten province on Monday afternoon at 13.30 Western Indonesia Time (WIB), according to the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG).
"The earthquake didn't trigeer tsunami warnings," said the Indonesian government agency.
With a depth of 139 kilometers, the epicenter was located 12 kilometers southwest of Pandeglang.
There are no immediate reports of damages or casualties due to the earthquake.
