Jakarta: The number of covid-19 patients with mild to moderate symptoms at the Athletes Village Emergency Hospital, Kemayoran Central Jakarta increased by 26 to 1,409 on Tuesday.
"The number of inpatients at towers 6 and 7 stood at 1,409 today," said the Joint Regional Defense Command I (Kogabwilhan I) Spokesperson Marine Colonel Aris Mudian in a written statement on Tuesday morning.
Operated by the central government, towers 6 and 7 at the Kemayoran Athletes Village are used to provide inpatient care for covid-19 patients with mild to moderate symptoms. Meanwhile, towers 4 and 5 at the building complex are used to house asymptomatic covid-19 patients.
"The inpatients comprise 693 males and 716 females," the spokesman stated.
According to the official, as of today, the Atheletes Village Emergency Hospital has accommodated a total of 20,949 inpatients.
On Monday, the National Covid-19 Handling Task Force confirmed 3,267 new covid-19 cases, bringing the total number of confirmed covid-19 cases in Indonesia to 336,716.
