Bandung: The West Java provincial government has sent relief aid to flood-affected areas in the regencies of Karawang and Subang.
"Logistics assistance from the Social Affairs Office of West Java has been sent to overcome the logistics shortage last night," Head of the West Java Provincial Social Affairs Office Dodo Suhendra stated here on Wednesday, February 26, 2020.

According to him, the office has also set up a public kitchen command post in Rengasdengklok, Karawang.

The West Java Disaster Mitigation Office (BPBD) has also dispatched personnel to the flood-affected areas.
"In Bekasi, we have deployed rubber boats and sent logistics, such as fast food, side dishes, and additional nutrition, as well as mattresses and blankets," Chief Executive of West Java BPBD Supriyatno said.
"We will continue to monitor and coordinate with all relevant parties. We have also sent a team to all flood-affected locations, so that flood mitigation efforts will be fast and appropriate this time," he remarked. (Antara)
