Athletes Village Emergency Hospital Accommodates 2,661 Covid-19 Patients

Jakarta: The number of covid-19 patients in the Athletes Village Emergency Hospital, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta decreased by 39 to 2,661 on Monday.
 
Operated by the Central Government, towers 6 and 7 of the Kemayoran Athletes Village are used to treat covid-19 patients with mild to moderate symptoms, while towers 4 and 5 of the complex are used to house asymptomatic covid-19 patients.
 
According to the Joint Regional Defense Command I (Kogabwilhan I) Spokesperson Marine Colonel Aris Mudian, as many as 1,492 covid-19 patients with mild to moderate symptoms are currently receving inpatient care at towers 6 and 7, while 1,169 asymptomatic covid-19 patients are undergoing self-quarantine at towers 4 and 5.

"Towers 6 and 7 have accommodated a total of 21,375 people since March," said the spokesperson.
 
"Meanwhile, towers 4 and 5 have registered 9,935 people since September 15," he added.
 
On Sunday, Indonesia's Covid-19 Handling Task Force confirmed 4,105 new covid-19 cases, bringing the total number of confirmed covid-19 cases in Indonesia to 361,867.
 
Based on data from the Indonesian Ministry of Health, from Saturday noon until Sunday noon, the total number of confirmed covid-19 recoveries across Indonesia was up by 3,732 to 285.324.
 
Meanwhile, in the same period, the official covid-19 death toll in the country rose by 80 to 12,511.
