Jakarta's ICU Bed Occupancy Rate Continues to Decline: Covid-19 Task Force

Jakarta: The occupancy rate of ICU beds and isolation beds for covid-19 patient in Jakarta Special Capital Region continues to decline, according National Covid-19 Handling Task Force Chairman Doni Monardo.
 
According to the National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB) Head, the ICU bed occupancy rate stood at 70.52 percent in early October, down from 82.99 percent in early September.
 
Meanwhile, the isolation bed occupancy rate stppd at 64.48 in early October, down from 74.46 percent in early September.

"The occupancy rate is declining," said the official during a virtual press conference here on Monday.
 
Last week, after considering a wide range of indicators, Jakarta Governor decided to ease covid-19 restrictions and implement transitional PSBB measures.
 
The indicators include, among other, daily cases, daily deaths, active cases and hospitalization rate.
