Jakarta: North Sumatra Police spokesperson Senior Commissioner Tatan Dirsan Atmaja said that suicide bombing incident at the Medan Police headquarters injured at least six people.
"Six people suffered light injuries," the police official told Metro TV on Wednesday, November 13, 2019.
According to the police official, the incident occurred at the parking lot of the compouned this morning. A lot of people gathered at the Medan Police headquarters to get police clearance certificates (SKCK) during the incident.
Morover, the suicide bombing attack was only carried out by one person. The pertetrator wore an online transportation uniform which allowed him to enter into the headquarters easily.
“Currently, the protection around the area has been really tightened. There is currently only one access door provided. On the other words, every visitor who wishes to enter must be strictly checked first," Metro TV contributor Arizal told Breaking News Metro TV.
