Jakarta: The Joint Regional Defense Command I (Kogabwilhan I) spokesperson Marine Colonel Aris Mudian today announced that 1,365 covid-19 patient with mild to moderate symptomps are still being treated at the Athletes Village Emergency Hospital, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta.
"Since March, towers 6 and 7 have accommodated 20,789 patients," the spokesperson said.
Operated by the central government, towers 6 and 7 of the Kemayoran Athletes Village are used to provide inpatient care for covid-19 patients with mild to moderate symptoms, while towers 4 and 5 of the building complex are used to house asymptomatic covid-19 patients.
"As of today, 19,069 patients have been discharged from towers 6 and 7," the spokesman stated.
Meanwhile, 1,376 asymptomatic covid-19 patients are undergoing self-isolation at towers 4 and 5 on Monday, up from 1,340 people on the previous day.
"They consists of 816 males and 560 females," Aris explained.
