Number of Covid-19 Inpatients in Athletes Village Rises to 1,292

Jakarta: The number of covid-19 inpatients in the Athletes Village Emergency Hospital, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta rose by 13 to 1,292 on Wednesday.
 
According to the Joint Regional Defense Command I (Kogabwilhan I) Spokesperson Aris Mudian, 627 males and 665 females are currently receiving inpatient care at towers 6 and 7 of the Kemayoran Athletes Village.
 
Operated by the central government, towers 6 and 7 are used to provide inpatient care for covid-19 patients with mild to moderate symptoms, while towers 4 and 5 are used as isolation centers for asymptomatic covid-19 patients.

"984 asymptomatic patients are currently undergoing self-isolation at towers 4 and 5," the spokesperson stated.
 
On Tuesday, the National Covid-19 Handling Task Force announced 3,520 new covid-19 cases, bringing the total number of confirmed covid-19 cases in Indonesia to 396,454.
 
From Monday noon to Tuesday noon, the total number of recovered covid-19 patients across Indonesia was up by 4,576 to 322,248, while the country's official covid-19 death toll rose by 101 to 13,512.
