Jakarta: Vice President Ma'ruf Amin kicked off a working visit to Banyuwangi and Situbondo regencies in East Java Province on Thursday, October 21, 2021.
Ma'ruf is scheduled to review mass covid-19 vaccination event and visit the grave of national hero KHR As'ad Syamsul Arifin.
The Vice President and his limited entourage flew using the Special Presidential Aircraft BAe-RJ 85 from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base in East Jakarta to Banyuwangi International Airport in Banyuwangi Regency at 08.00 Western Indonesia Time (wIB).
In Banyuwangi, the Vice President will be greeted by the Governor of East Java, Khofifah Indar Parawansa, and members of the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum of East Java Province.
After that, Ma'ruf will head to Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Islamic Boarding School in Situbondo Regency.
At the Islamic boarding school, Ma'ruf will review the implementation of Covid-19 vaccination as well as see mass vaccination activities throughout Situbondo Regency through video conference.
Before returning to Jakarta, Ma'ruf will also review the Banyuwangi Public Service Mall.
