Jakarta: President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) today traveled to South Sulawesi province to review mass vaccination events and inaugurate Gilireng and Paselloreng Dams.
President Jokowi and his entourage left Jakarta at around 06.30 Western Indonesia Time (WIB) via Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base in East Jakarta.
President Jokowi was accompanied by First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo and Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung.
After arriving at Sultan Hasanuddin Air Force Base in Maros Regency, they continued their journey to Wajo Regency using an Indonesian Air Force Super Puma Helicopter.
The first agenda of the Head of State is reviewing a covid-19 vaccination event SMA Negeri 3 Wajo High School.
President Jokowi also plans to also review vaccinations at the Wewangrewu Health Center in Wajo Regency.
After that, Jokowi is set to inaugurate Gilireng Dam and Paselloreng Dams. The ceremony will be centered at the Paselloreng Dam, Arajang Village, Gilireng District, Wajo Regency.
