Govt to Prioritize 1.3 Million Health Workers for Covid-19 Vaccines

Jakarta: Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto has said that 1.3 million health workers will get top priority for vaccination against covid-19.
 
"We are currently formulating the roadmap. 1.3 million health workers wil get top priority. Other vaccine priority groups are civil servant and law enforcement officers," the minister said here on Friday.
 
"After that, as many as 86 million people will be vaccinated. They will be divided into several groups. The groups include, among others, people with comorbidities, productive workers, and BPJS Kesehatan participants," the minister explained.

The Indonesian Government is currently drafting Presidential Regulation on Vaccine Procurement and Vaccination Implementation which will regulate the procurement, purchase, and distribution process of vaccines, as well as the implementation of vaccination/immunization.
 
The centrak government is currently aslso preparing the Roadmap for the National Plan for the Implementation of Covid-19 Immunization.
 
This roadmap will thoroughly regulate the implementation of vaccination, including a timeline and stages of immunization.
