Malang: The Malang-Pandaan toll road project is expected to be completed by January 2020. The constrution of the toll road's Section V has been accelerated.
According to PT Jasamarga Pandaan Malang president director Agus Purnomo, the construction of the toll road's Section V is still hampered by complicated land acquisition process. As of now, some plots of land have yet to be aqcuired.
"If it is not acquired, the contruction work cannot continue," the PT Jasamarga Pandaan Malang CEO said here on Wednesday, December 18, 2019.
"We are also still preparing the bridge," he added.
The Malang-Pandaan toll road has been officially inaugurated by President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo in May 2019. Four sections have been operational since the inauguration.
The 38.48 kilometer toll road is divided into five sections. They are Section I (Pandaan-Purwodadi), Section II (Purwodadi-Lawang), Section III (Lawang-Singosari), Section IV (Singosari-Pakis) and Section V (Pakis-Malang).
