Jakarta: The number of covid-19 patients at the Athletes Village Emergency Hospital continues to decrease, according to Joint Regional Defense Command I (Kogabwilhan I) spokesperson Marine Colonel Aris Mudian.
"The number of patients at towers 6 and 7 was down by 243 to 1,806," said the military official in a written statement on Monday.
"The number of patients at towers 4 and 5 was up by 11 to 1,656," he added.
Operated by the central government, towers 6 and 7 of the Kemayoran Athletes Village are used as inpatient care for covid-19 patients with mild to moderate symptoms, while towers 4 and 5 of the building complex are used self-isolation flats for asymptomatic covid-19 patients.
On Sunday, the National Covid-19 Handling Task Force confirmed 3,992 new covid-19 cases, bringing the total number of confirmed covid-19 cases to 303,498.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, the total number of confirmed covid-19 recoveries has reached 228,453, while the total number of confirmed covid-19 deaths has reached 11,151.
