All Provinces Log New Covid-19 Cases: Task Force

Jakarta: The National Covid-19 Handling Task Force revealed that all provinces in the country registered new covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours. 
 
"Four provinces registered less than 10 covid-19 cases," the National Covid-19 Handling Task Force spokesperson Wiku Adisasmito said here on Wednesday.
 
According to the spokesperson, the four provinces are Jambi (nine cases), West Kalimantan (six cases), North Sulawesu (six cases) and Maluku (two cases).

Meanwhile, the four provinces with the highest number of new covid cases are Jakarta  (1,133 cases), West Java (516 cases), East Java (338 cases) and Central Java (257 cases).
 
On Wednesday afternoon, the National Covid-19 Handling Task Force confirmed 4,465 new covid-19 cases, bringing the total nummber of confirmed covid-19 cases in Indonesia to 257,388.
 
From Tuesday noon to Wednesday noon, the total number of covid-19 recoveries increased by 3,660 to 187,958, while the total number of confirmed covid-19 deaths rose by 140 to 9,977.
