Jakarta: President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and his entourage conducted a working visit to Wanasari Village, Indramayu Regency, West Java Province on Wednesday.
During the visit, President Jokowi inspected the location of a rice harvest and held talks with local farmers in Wanasari Village.
"Today, I visited Wanasari Village, Indramatu, Jawa Barat to observe the location of a rice harvest here," said the President during the visit this morning.
"They can produce 8 tonnes of rice per hectare," he stated.
After visiting Indramayu, President Jokowi and his entourage are scheduled to observe the development of an industrial park in Ketanggan Village, Batang Regency, Central Java Province.
On Wednesday evening, the President will return to Jakarta by plane from Ahmad Yani International Airport in Semarang City.
