Jakarta: The Covid-19 Emergency Hospital at the Kemayoran Athletes Village in Central Jakarta is currently treating 2,375 inpatients, according to the Joint Regional Defense Command I (Kogabwilhan I) spokesperson Marine Colonel Aris Mudian.
"The number decreased by 40 today," the spokesperson said here on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, as of today, the Covid-19 Emergency Hospital has accommodated a total of 18,500 inpatients at towers 6 and 7.
"A total of 15,789 have been discharged from the hospital since March," the military official stated.
On Tuesday afternoon, the National Covid-19 Handling Task Force onfirmed 4,002 new covid-19 cases, bringing the total number of confirmed covid-19 cases across Indonesia to 282,724.
From Monday noon to Tuesday noon, the total number of confirmed covid-19 recoveries in Indonesia increased by 3,567 to 210,437, the total number of confirmed covid-19 deaths in the country was up by 128 to 10,601.
