Depok: As many as 10 government offices in Depok City, West Java Province were temporarily closed down after several workers who work at the government offices contracted covid-19.
According to Depok Regional Secretary Hardiono, the offices will be closed down for seven days. Nevertheless, the workers still have to work from home.
"We found many positive cases. The infected workers are currently undergoing quarantine," the local official said here on Wednesday.
The offices are, among others, the Regional Secretariat, the Empowerment and Family Welfare (PKK) Office, and the Procurement Office. Government offices in Sukmajaya, Cimanggis, and Harjimukti were also temporarily shut down.
On Wednesday afternoon, the Indonesian Ministry of Health confirmed 3,307 new covid-19 case, bringing the total number of confirmed covid-19 cases in Indonesia to 203,342.
From Tuesday noon to Wednesday noon, the total number of confirmed covid-19 recoveries was up by 2,242 to 145,200. Meanwhile, the total number of confirmed covid-19 deaths was up by 106 to 8,336.
