Jakarta: Police revealed that the North Sumatra-Aceh branch of the Jamaah Ansharut Daulah (JAD) terror group held a training in Mount Sibayak, Karo, North Sumatra.
It was revealed after the Police Special Detachment 88 (Densus 88) arrested 46 terrorist suspects in the past few days. 23 of whom had links to a suicide bombing attack which occured at the Medan Police headquarters in North Sumatra last week.
The 23 terrorist suspects are members of the North Sumatera-Aceh branch of the terrorist group Jamaah Ansharut Daulah (JAD). They are led by Y alias Yasir alias Anto.
“The group pledged heir allegiance to Abu Ibrahim Al Hasim Al Quraish. Later, they held a training somewhere near Mount Sibayak,” Dedi said here on Monday, November 18, 2019.
