Agus Yudhoyono Visits Ministry of Law and Human Rights

Jakarta: Democratic Party chairman Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono today visited the Ministry of Law and Human Rights to submit a formal complaint against the extraordinary congress held in North Sumatra last week.
 
Organized by several founding members of the Democratic Party, the extraordinary congress elected Presidential Chief of Staff Moeldoko as the Democratic Party chairman.
 
"The extraordinary congress is illegal and unconstitutional," said Agus at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights here on Monday.

"I am here to submit a formal complaint," the eldest son of former President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono stated.
 
During his visit, agus was accompanied by leaders of regional executive boards of the party.
 
"Most leaders of regional and district executive boards did not participate in the extraordinary congress," Agus explained.
