Jakarta: Today, five million doses of Sinovac's covid-19 vaccine arrived at Soekarno Hatta International Airport, Tangerang, Banten.

"We thank God for the presence of Allah SWT. because it is thanks to His grace and blessing that we are present at the opportunity to witness the arrival of the covid-19 vaccine, namely the five million Sinovac vaccine in finished form," said Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto, in a virtual press statement welcoming the arrival of the vaccine, as quoted by the Cabinet Secretariat's website.

This arrival is the arrival of the 50th stage of the vaccine, calculated since the first arrival of the vaccine, which was exactly ten months ago.

The total number of Sinovac vaccines that have arrived in the country is 33 million doses in finished form and 153.9 million doses in the form of raw materials.

In addition, Indonesia has also secured 19.5 million doses of AstraZeneca vaccine, 8 million doses of Moderna, 2.75 million doses of Pfizer, and 8.25 million doses of Sinopharm.

Overall, Indonesia has received 225.4 million doses of vaccines from various brands, both in the form of bulk and ready-made vaccines.

This 50th arrival, Airlangga added, is clear evidence that the government continues to ensure the availability of stocks to meet the needs of vaccines in Indonesia.
