Jakarta: As many as 11,813 patients at the covid-19 emergency hospital in Central Jakarta have recovered from covid-19, the Joint Regional Defense Command I (Kogabwilhan I) spokesperson Marine Colonel Aris Mudian has said.
According to the spokesman, as many as 1,570 patients are currently still being treated at the Kemayoran Athletes Village.
"They consist of 822 males and 748 females," the official stated.
On Monday, the Indonesian Ministry of Health announced 2,880 new covid-19 cases, bringing the total number of confirmed covid-19 cases in Indonesia to 196,989.
Based on data from the Indonesian Ministry of Health, from Sunday noon to Monday noon, the total number of confirmed covid-19 recoveries rose by 2,077 to 140,652.
As of September 1, Indonesia’s covid-19 recovery rate is higher than that of the global average with 128,057 cases (72.1 percent), while the global average is at 69.97 percent.
