Security at Soekarno-Hatta Airport Tightened

Tangerang: State-owned airport operator Angkasa Pura II along with the Indonesian Armed Forces (TNI) and National Police (Polri) began to increase security in each terminal at Soekarno Hatta Airport, Tangerang, Banten.
 
Security was Increased ahead of the presidential inauguration on Sunday, October 20, 2019.
 
Soekarno Hatta International Airport spokesman Febri Toga Simatupang coordination was also carried out with the Presidential Secretariat (Setpres) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Kemenlu).

Febri explained the supervision of the traffic of goods, people and vehicles entering and leaving the VIP area will be tightened until Monday, October 21, 2019 or a day after the inauguration.
 
"We ensure the condition of human resources, especially in the field of security will be in top condition," he explained.
 
The number of security personnel at Soekarno-Hatta Airport will also be added by one company-level unit (SSK) or the equivalent of 100 personnel.
