Jakarta: As many as 1,375 asymptomatic covid-19 patients are still undergoing self-isolation at the Kemayoran Athletes Village, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta.
"The number increased by 59 today," said the Joint Regional Defense Command I (Kogabwilhan I) Marine Colonel Aris Mudian in a written statement on Tuesday.
"They consist of 784 males and 591 females," the official stated.
Meanwhile, according to the National Covid-19 Handling Task Force Head Doni Monardo, the isolation bed occupancy rate stood at 64.48 in early October, down from 74.46 percent in early September.
Last week, after considering a wide range of indicators, Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan decided to ease Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) and implement transitional PSBB measures.
The indicators include, among others, daily cases, daily deaths, active cases and hospitalization rate.
