Jakarta: The number of covid-19 patients with mild to moderate symptoms and asymptomatic covid-19 patients at the Athletes Village Emergency Hospital, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta continues to decrease.
According to the Joint Regional Defense Command I (Kogabwilhan I) Spokesperson Marine Colonel Aris Mudian, the emergency hospital registered 2,951 covid-19 patients on Friday, down from 3,033 covid-19 patients on Thursday.
On Friday, 1,421 covid-19 patients with mild to moderate symptoms are being treated at towers 6 and 7, while 1530 asmptomatic covid-19 patients are undergoing self-isolation at towers 4 and 5.
Operated by the central government, towers 6 and 7 are used to treat covid-19 patients with mild to moderate cases, while towers 4 and 7 are used to house covid-19 patients with no symptoms.
"Since March, the total number of covid-19 patients at towers 6 and 7 has reached 20,362," the spokesperson stated.
"Meanwhile, the patients of self-isolation flats at towers 4 and 5 increased by 46 to 1,484 today," he stated.
On Thursday, the National Covid-19 Handling Task Force confirmed 4,850 new covid-19 cases, bringing the total number of confirmed covid-19 cases in Indonesia to 320,564.
