6 Suspected Terrorists Apprehended in West Java's Cirebon

Cirebon: The National Police's Special Detachment 88 Anti-Terror (Densus 88) apprehended six suspected terrorists in Cirebon City, West Java Province, on Monday, November 18, 2019.
The suspects allegedly belonged to an organization called the Jamaah Ansharut Daulah (JAD), Cirebon City Police Chief Adjunct Commissioner Roland Ronaldy stated here on Tuesday, November 19, 2019.
However, Ronaldy was yet unable to disclose the identity of the suspects and their possible involvement in the recent Medan suicide bombing since the case was still being handled by investigators.

To facilitate the investigation process, the Cirebon city police helped the Densus 88 in conducting search of the suspects' houses.
In connection with the Medan blast on Wednesday, November 13, 2019, the National Police spokesman, Brigadier General Dedi Prasetyo, had confirmed earlier that the Densus 88 team had until now taken 46 suspects into arrest.
"A total of 46 suspects were arrested. I need to disclose that they are linked to the Y-led Jamaah Ansharut Daulah (JAD)," Prasetyo stated at the National Police Headquarters in Jakarta on Monday, November 18, 2019.
The National Police spokesperson confirmed that 23 of the 46 suspects belong to the North Sumatra-Aceh network, with four of them surrendering to the police.
The four other suspects were arrested in Banten, three in Jakarta, nine in Central Java, six in West Java, and one suspect in East Kalimantan. (Antara)
