Covid-19 Task Force Logs 4,002 New Cases

Jakarta: The National Covid-19 Handling Task Force today confirmed 4,002 new covid-19 cases, bringing the total number of confirmed covid-19 cases across Indonesia to 282,724.
 
From Monday noon to Tuesday noon, the total number of confirmed covid-19 recoveries increased by 3,567 to 210,437, the total number of confirmed covid-19 deaths was up by 128 to 10,601.
 
According to the Spokesperson for the Covid-19 Handling Task Force Reisa Broto Asmoro, patients with severe symptoms can recover through a proper handling.

Provided that there are no more fever and respiratory problems within at least three days, for cases of patients with severe symptoms, patients can be moved to a non-isolation room before being discharged or being moved to inpatient care," the spokeswoman was quoted by the Cabinet Secretariat's website as saying.
 
For those with mild and moderate symptoms, they must be observed first and no longer show symptoms such as fever and respiratory problems before being discharged. 
 
“If after receiving treatment at a health facility and it hasn’t reached 14 days, then the patient still has to undergo self-isolation at home. During the isolation, the patient should continue to limit activities and contact with other people,” Reisa was quoted as saying.
