Jokowi Inaugurate Six Ministers and Five Deputies

Jakarta: President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) inaugurated six ministers and five deputy ministers at the State Palace, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, December 23, 2020. The ministers were inaugurated based on Presidential Decree (Keppres) Number 133 of 2020 concerning the Filling and Replacement of Several Ministers in Indonesia Maju Cabinet for the Period of 2019-2024.
 
Meanwhile, the appointment of the deputy minister is based on Presidential Decree Number 76 of 2020 concerning the Dismissal and Appointment of Deputy Ministers of the Forward Indonesian Cabinet for the 2019-2024 Period.
 
The inauguration took place while still implementing the health protocol. President Jokowi takes the oath of ministers and deputy ministers.

“In the name of Allah, I swear that I will be loyal to the 1945 Constitution and will carry out the laws and regulations as much as possible for the sake of devotion to the State," said the ministers and deputy ministers following the words of Jokowi at the State Palace, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, December 23, 2020.
 
The ministers and wamen also promised to do their best and be responsible for their duties. The president's aides vowed to uphold office ethics.
 
The following is the list of six ministers and five deputy ministers appointed by Jokowi:
 
1. Minister of Social Affairs, Sri Rismaharini
2. Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Sakti Wahyu Trenggono
3. Minister of Religious Affairs Yaqut Cholil Quomas
4. Minister of Trade Muhammad Lutfi
5. Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno
6. Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin
7. Deputy Minister of Defense, Lt. Gen. TNI, Muhamad Herindra
8. Deputy Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Pahala Nugraha Mansyuri
9. Deputy Minister of Health Dante Saksono Harbuwono
10. Deputy Minister of Agriculture Harfiq Hasnul Qolbi
11. Deputy Minister of Law and Human Rights Edward Komar Syarif Hiariez.
